Outreach

The Methods Network organizes visits and presentations to individuals, organizations and groups with an interest in furthering ICT-based research in the arts and humanities. We would be happy to hear from you if you would like us to visit your institution. Presentations could cover some or all of the following topics:

  • Introducing the Methods Network and describing its objectives and activities.
  • Knowledge gathering about ICT tools and methods used in different subject areas.
  • Discussing opportunities for collaboration with the Methods Network.
  • Discussing and developing suggestions for proposals for Methods Network funded activities.

Several visits have already been undertaken and have provided us with a great deal of useful information and feedback. To arrange a visit, please contact Torsten Reimer(torsten.reimer@kcl.ac.uk) for more details.

The Methods Network is keen to visit institutions that use ICT in their research at all levels. In those areas where there is little or no use of ICT, programme development can be discussed. In areas where there is a great deal of expert use, we can explore broader dissemination and the application of methods for cross-disciplinary use.
